Background  information about farmer field

Farmers field is upland irrigated having sany loam soil.

Details of technology demonstrated

25 % N of *RDF through organic source viz.,  10 ton FYM +4.1 q karanj cake +11 q vermin compost + seed treatment with sanjivani** + two spary of sanjivani at 30 & 50 days after transplanting.

*RDF-Recommended dose of fertilizers viz., NPK @200:100:60kg/ha

** Use of 20% solution of cow dung + cow urine + water (1:1:2) placed in earthen pot for 7-9 days as recommended by RKM KVK, Ranchi.

Note:-calculation of orhanic source only on the basis of Nitrogen.

Due to use  of organic inputs like karanj cake and vermi compost the quality and test of cauliflower  curd was enhanced  and fetched higher price in the market.
